Jared went to Texas A&M and graduated from the engineering school in 2001. But he had a longing to help folks directly, so he looked into the 2 areas where they needed help most, marriage counseling and finances. After looking into some master's programs for counseling, he decided that it made more sense with his math and analytical background to look into helping folks with finance.
Thus began his journey. He worked for H.D. Vest in multiple areas learning financial planning, investment selection, risk management, and estate planning. But seeing that most folks that had saved were highly interested in taxes, he decided to spend several more years in CPA and advanced planning firms to learn more about tax and estate.
This lead him to see that most clients don't get the served in a manner where they understand how tax, estate, and their plan all work together. So Jared began Ford Innovative Wealth Strategies to just that.
He and his family, which include his wife Kelley and his 3 children Morgan, Grant, and Lillian all live at their house in Midlothian, where they attend First Baptist Midlothian, spend as much time outdoors as they can, raise crazy chickens, attempt having a garden and landscaping, and enjoy playing card and board games.
